We were inspired by the frigid nature of Iceland. Silent landscape, frozen horizons and static tranquility create an awe inspiring atmosphere that conjure a humble, introspective melancholy. This concept became the inspiration for the collection of art objects made of Jesmonite – a composite of a reactive mineral base and a water based acrylic resin.

The project examines the natural shapes and patterns of this otherworldly environment. All forms were molded by natural processes through time and space, making them powerful, unique and amazingly distinct in color and shape.
Archetype is a statement. Our concept is an affirmation of the vast diversity and endless variation of a singular object. We replicate these natural identities through a process of experimentation that organically yields different variations of patterns.
